Asharam Meghwal is a traditional miniature artist who won National Award from Mr.Abdul Kalam in 2001 for his significant contribution to the art form. He holds 45 years of experience and had been trained under great teachers, namely Kripal Singh, Nathulalji, and Durgeshji. Besides doing commission work for local art galleries in Rajasthan, he spends time to teach art students at his small home and is doing his bit to pass the knowledge of this rare art form to the future generation. Asharam also ventured into doing a series of modern art as he draws huge inspiration from Picasso and MF hussian.
